New defections at the World Championships!!!!

Six african boxers have defected in Milan. As usual, athletes from poor countries abandon their team looking for better opportunities in a richer country. It never makes the headlines, unless it's a cuban boxer of course. Mbenguia Makassi and Bruno Flavien from Central African Republic and camerunians Thomas Essomba, Achille Apie, Antoine Boya and David Assine are reported to be missing from the competition.

I think what we'll see eventually is that countries will be less likely to bring boxers to the world championships in fear that they may defect.
