Lindsey Scragg Vs Angel Mckenzie

Post by Adamj1987 »

This title fight seems to have slipped under the radar. I'm not sure how angel has landed this title shot i presume its because her name is somewhat recognizable to joe public it can hardley be because of her win record. anyway how do you guys see this fight?
I think angel will try and box her way to a desision whilst scragg will try and swamp her. i think scragg has to much for angel and will go for points maybe late KO

I understand it's just an eight rounder. Angel is far from title material even by the standards of womens boxing.

:TU: i thought mckenzie shouldnt be in a title shot coming off just 1 win. if angel does win will that get her a rematch with the title on the line?

If Angel was to win then yes she may well be offered a re-match with the title up for grabs. There are so few lady boxers. Scragg should be far too strong though.

I have seen both of them live, Lindsay should walk through her and batter her. Scragg loves to go to the body and McKenzie looked soft down there when i saw her.

I dreamt about this fight last night :o

Scragg basically bullrushed McKenzie into the ropes and hammered her with a big right hand as McKenzie was leaning back, kindof Toney - Nunn style. smashed her face right in, she did.

Read in the news yesterday that Scragg will challenge Peruvian Kina Malpartida in Los Angeles for the WBA title on December 5th. Anybody has more on this?

Scargg's a great advertisement for women's boxing imo. She's got good skills and always puts on a decent outing.

Looking forward to tonight, first live boxing i've been to since April or May (was ill in hospital for a while).

Saville's now got Al Hamidi for a Masters, could pose him some problems.

hello mate. it was my first boxing dream for a while and it was a good one :TU:

enjoy tonight SK- haven't been to the civic for a while, halfway fancied it but i am going to have an expensive October so something had to give there.

sorry to hear you were in hospital mate hope you're over whatever it was put you there :TU:

i agree Hamidi may well give saville big problems, too. bomber is flatfooted, likes to plant his feet wide and swing, likes a stationary target, none of which is going to help against Hamidi.

have a good one pal :TU:

Hi mate.

Cheers mate yeah all better now. Yeah my October is looking like its going to give my bank balance a good caning!

Definitely mate, can see it being a very frustrating fight for saville. The dream sounds good mate, would love it to happen lol!

What do you reckon to Horton's chances against Cello Renda then mate?

:D

women's boxing just don't cut the mustard does it.

lucia rijker is the only women's boxer i've ever really rated highly for her skills.

shame we never saw ann wolfe vs leila ali back in the day.

leila definitely avoided that one like the plague.

Horton Renda is a belting little scrap, probably close to 50/50

would be very interested to hear Jon Pegg's thoughts on it, i *think* sam might be the slightly bigger man but I also *think* Renda has a bit more snap and fizzle to his work. both can box a bit, both can get stuck in too. should be a 'small hall classic' :TU:

Lyndsey will cruise through this easily, going on what I've seen of Angel Delight.

When/where is Horton-Renda? I hadn't heard about that one but it gets the thumbs-up from me.

im a big supporter of womens boxing,i dont know why it gets slated so much.Mind you like someone mentioned theres so few pros thats its not surprising that angel mckenzie gets a shot. Also there seems to be about 50 million different titles aswell.Which ones are the most regarded

anne wolfe was the best ever in my opinion, mean ,mean lady would have killed ali.
