LARRY OLUBAMIWO

Post by damianhucker1 »

FIRST TIME IVE SEEN HIM FIGHT TONIGHT AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED , I LIKE HIS STYLE .
I KNOW HE POSTS ON HERE AND WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON A GOOD BUT QUICK WORKOUT . ILL BE KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON HIM .
BEST ADVICE IN MY OPINION WOULD BE TO BE BACK IN ASAP , KEEP ACTIVE , AFTER A BOUT LIKE THAT , SURELY WOULD BE CAPABLE OF GOING AGAIN TOMORROW.

I wasnt impressed. Early days though and people do improve but didnt like his footwork and the way he loaded up on his shots. No concern for defence either and that always cooncerns me. But like I said, very early days and looks he has god power which always helps .

As it was a 1 round job he should try out for prizefighter

I'm not impressed by tonight's fight.

Larry has talent and a rawness, but has many flaws and these will only be ironed out by good sparring and fights that give him three or four rounds. The guy tonight didn't even look like a true heavyweight, he looked more like a light-heavy to me and was game but hopeless. Maybe it was a confidence boosting fight after his recent defeat, but he will learn nothing from fights like that.

I like that Larry posts on here and he seems like a decent guy but.....

He seemed tense tonite which is understandable coming off a loss, flat footed and a little bit robotic. He really needs to take off that muscle bulk and also wearing his shorts a little lower!

Larry should keep on learning, not get thrown into Prizefighter, you saw what happened with Fury when you are moved too quickly.

Ye he's bulky as hell looks more like a body builder it would speed him up a bit if he lost some of that imo

I AGREE THE FIGHT WILL HAVE DONE NOTHING OTHER THAN BOOST HIS CONFIDENCE BUT IT WAS MORE HIS STYLE THAT I LIKE RATHER THAN HIS PERFORMANCE , IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME TO MAKE A POINT OF WATCHING NEXT TIME .

well thanks everyone for the nice comments and the criticism. It wasn't great today I will admit but it gives me a little more confidence after my loss. I will watch it later to see where I went wrong but yes I am raw and I am working on technical ability. And at the very least I got a win today.

i thought fury lost that by 3 rounds and I am disgusted with the decision and really feel for john. John deserved that fight. I actually lost some weight for this fight and will continue to lose more as I thought I weighed less than I actually weighed in for the fight ( due to faulty scales I was using prior to the weigh in)

Nice one Larry :TU:

I hope you never get a dodgy decision like that!

I should have listened to you before the fight. I thought fury was just having an innocent laugh, but he seems to mean everything he says. I hope he gets humbled. He's a decent domestic fighter, but he didn't win that fight. And both you and david haye reckon Fury lost!
thats why I am glad The all mighty blessed me with power so I can take it out of the judgs hands as much as possible. Most of the arena thought fury lost and thre is some talk that the ref didnt want any trouble from furys people so gave it to fury. Only what I heard though
