okay, so i have a question. i have not coached amateur for about 2 years now. there is an upcoming amateur show next month in my area. i now have a boxer ready to compete in it. i remember from my last clinic that if a coach registers and their are no clinics between the time the register and the time of the next match, they are allowed to coach. however, if they miss the clinic and have already been registered, then they are unable to work the corner.
so my question is, since i last got registered to coach in 2007, and there are no more clinics before the show next month, will i be able to work my boxers corner?
coach registration?
Re: coach registration?
You have to be certified to work the corner and go into the ring in between rounds. If your certification is more than 2 years old, you are not currently certified. Have someone else who is certified work the corner and you can just yell from the crowd or find a clinic before you actually have your boxer compete.
We are having a clinic in Grand Rapids, MI on October 20th starting at 6:00 p.m.
