Nice Odds

Post by forcefraser »

I see you can get 9/4 for Froch to win by Stoppage against Dirrell and 11/4 for Cotto to win by stoppage over Pacman.

That has to be worth a crack at the double?

Fancy Cotto big style against Pac and have been backing him every week since the prices came out, got him outright for a few bob and mostly all on him by ko at various prices from 4/1 down to the 11/4 you mention.

Will keep backing him upto fight time and then keep everything crossed.

He is too big and strong for me and I think he should be favourite although not many agree.

I agree. Cotto is a great fighter and I don`t see this going the distance.

A sly ton could be the go here for the double with Froch.

I also like the odds for Valuev to win in rounds 10-12. If Haye doesn`t get him out of there before round 10, he will be gassed with that heavy Russian having leant on him for nearly 30 mins. At odds of 23/1 for Valuev in rounds 10 - 12, it has to be worth a shot.

I'll be having abit of Frochy to win by KO :TU:

Call me crazy if you will (and you will), but I'm starting to like Taylor to beat Abraham, not with BIG $£€'s on it though. It's a step up in class for AA and I don't think JT gets the respect he deserves

5/2 on Taylor to win
5/1 for Taylor on points
40/1 or 50/1 for each individual round

Rounds 1-3 20/1
Rounds 4-6 18/1
Rounds 7-9 18/1
Rounds 10-12 20/1

Taylor at 5/1 pts is too big, I backed it yesterday for small money, yes I know its Germany and yes I know he fades but he is different gear to anything Abraham has fought really and I expect him to be leading at half way and then its hold your breath time from there.

Regarding the Haye fight I have backed either fighter to win inside the distance at 6/4 and also took Valuev at 11/2 inside the distance.

Taylor via split @ 9/1 would be a better option if you're going down that route. Ain't getting a UD in Germany, but snaffling a SD a feasible long shot.

Would deffo be interested in odds for JT to be leading after 3 rds though.

Taylor is a good boxer and Abraham can be a slow starter. I actually thought he looked better against Froch than for quite some time and the Super Six could be a clean slate for him. I think he can definitely outbox Abraham but I'm worried that he hasn't got a great chin and Abraham has such fantastic one punch power.
I'm surprised though that this isn't closer, it's a big step up for Abraham. The best he has faced so far is Miranda and he was very much a come forward slug it out type of fighter. Taylor will be moving all night and if he is in half decent shape he could easily build up a big early lead.

i think Taylor will get KO'd in the first half of the fight.

I think Hunter will stop Booth in 11.

I'm not sure when it is but Rogan will stop Sexton imo.

6/1 on Jennings to beat Brook by decision doesn't look a bad bet either.
on Boylesport.com

Jennings is by far the best boxer that Brook has faced, and if Brook doesn't land early then i could see Michael getting into his rythum

Indeed. I'm going to start looking into boxing multiples myself. I would be most worried about Froch in there. Dirrell REALLY looks good when you watch his fights intently. I think he might completely outbox Carl or even worse, bomb him out.

Moore is a dodgy one too. I think that fight is very even.

Brook again is a bit dodgy. he got hit a lot against Lomax I thought. Jennings isn't the mug that Cotto made him look like. But I think Special K should win it.

I can't see him bombing Carl out, I can see it as, outboxing Carl for say 4-5 rounds but when Carl lands it will hurt him like he's never been hurt before, then we will see whather he can hack it or not.

I think Dirrell has absolutely bags of ability and I do have genuine fear that he can beat Froch, but I also wonder about his power, I saw a couple of his fights on YouTube and he was struggling to get journeymen out of there when he basically couldn't miss so there are question marks over how hard he really hits and whther Carl will walk through his shots.
