Brodie vs Crolla - Who wins
http://fightfranchise.com/brodie_and_cr ... _meet.html
Michael Brodie and Anthony Crolla are set to meet on the 27th November on a Hatton Promotions card. Who will win this one.
If Brodie loses will he retire, where will Crolla go if he loses.
Is this a good move by Hatton to put these 2 fighters in the ring together
Craig Watson and Thomas McDonagh are set to be on the card too

Quality competative boxing is exactly what the sport needs.
Another decent fight or 2 on this card, and I'd be tempted to go and watch the show live.
Regarding the fight itself - Brodie is 35- he needs to be getting on with it- no point "treading water" fighting journeymen. Likewise Crolla. OK, he could be "excused" a warm up fight, but again, it's in his interests to keep his career moving and fighting quality opponents.
I'd say Crolla will win this. However, if Brodie wins, and does so comfortably, he will be right back "in the mix."
Re: Brodie vs Crolla - Who wins
Good match-up and a real cross-roads fight. I see a Crolla victory sending Brodie back into retirement unfortunately.

dont think this will even be close. Crolla by stoppage. Brodies finished.
Re: Brodie vs Crolla - Who wins
Crolla. Brodie is totally shot and should not be boxing.

Re: Brodie vs Crolla - Who wins
ive been in the gym with brodie this week an i no crolla really well there both good friends of mine an i think alot of people are judging brodie on his last performance i no he isnt shot cos ive seen him sparring an no he can still take a wack he did the weight wrong last time an this time i hope he is right as for crolla he is a top lad an very skillfull but i still think its a 50 50 fight if brodie ha done is work right if he dosent he will get his head boxed off an that will be a shame to end like that !!!!!!
Re: Brodie vs Crolla - Who wins
was thinking crolla at fist but when i thnk about it hink brodie will stp him if its an 8 rounder , as he is stil very srong ,might be an up and down battle cant wait for this one
Re: Brodie vs Crolla - Who wins
If Crolla has anything about him then he must win this one. Brodie you would have thought has seen much better days and it's debatable whether he should be continuing at all.
I think it's pretty obvious that Crolla is not going to live up to the lofty expectations that he had when turning pro, but with more experience and wins under his belt he could still compete at British title level.

Very good fight to put on.
The outcome is dependant on how much Brodie has left in the tank - if Crolla can take him to the limits it could get interesting.

Crolla to stop Brodie.. Brodie looked like he had no resistance against Alexander.

Yep, if this comeback isn't going to work out, better to find out sooner rather than later.whicker wrote:Regarding the fight itself - Brodie is 35- he needs to be getting on with it- no point "treading water" fighting journeymen.

Nope Crolla was dismantle him with ease.Spud wrote:Very good fight to put on.

Hatton promotions are putting some great cards on, lots of 50-50 or 60-40 fights, unlike many promotions that seem to be 80-20 or even 99-01 fights!!

As much as it pains me to say, Crolla will stop Brodie within four rounds, possibly sooner. Always been a huge Michael Brodie fan but his weakness around the body will see him dismantled.
