Looks like a decent undercard, although why Glover was put in again with another tall, rangey fighter after his last loss to a tall rangey fighter seems a mystery.

Nothing to lose apart from his senses. If he fought Cox he would be puurely a stepping stone.

That undercard was a total disgrace. Adnan Amar chief support and a 1 hour 20 min break before the main event.

Say was you like about Warren, but at least he always put ome fighters you had heard of on the undercard.

Why didn't Hennessy put on Murray, O'Donnell or Barker - guys who need to stay active and might have created some interest. Instead we got the guy O'Donnell just smashed up, getting smashed up again. All Hennessy undercards are just turning in to Ingle fundraisers. Just poor, cheap fights. The only guy being kept active is Tyson Fury and when he is injured, we end up with Adnan Amar instead. Terrible.

Well, money is clearly a factor mate.

Glover's fight, yeah, an odd one.

But at least they seemed to put on a competative bout in that area title fight, plus a couple of minor surprises on the undercard. Had I been there, that would have entertained me - which given that 99% of people there would have bought tickets just to see the main event, is all an undercard needs to be.

That said, stupid gaps are a pain in the arse. Why not stick on a few strippers, or even a band or something?

Me and my mates would do it for free ... (and then you'd just need a band...)

Wha-hey! :TU:

This thread highlights an increasingly common trend: Hennessy undercards are poor. I suppose its in response to losing the tv deal - if there is no reason to impress ,as the incentive of a continued tv deal is no longer there, then why spend extra money on an undercard when you can make more money providing a crappy one? That's from a business point of view but as fan, we're made to suffer. I remember the days when Hennessy bills were stacked with competitive fights from top to bottom. It doesn't matter about the respective fighters' level's - match them well and you'll get a good fight.
