Richie Mepranum's second loss

Post by PinoyProdigy95 »

"His trainer Jonathan Tinagsa however claimed one of the two loses (the loss to Panomroonglek Kratingdaenggym) was courtesy of unscrupulous promoters who used Mepranum's name for another unnamed Filipino boxer who lost in Thailand" from an article in late december last year:

I'm not saying you remove the win from Kratingdaenggym, because that article states that he did beat someone that night, but i'm asking you remove the loss from Mepranum's boxrec record since other boxing articles only have him with 1 loss, such as these 2:

 The problem is the Thai, WBC and Fight Fax records show it was Mepranum. :o
 Plus the Philippines Games and Amusment Board does not cooperate with BoxRec. :shame:
 We have a similar situation with Bobby Pacquiao's record too. :witzend:

This one has been changed 15 or so times back and forth. Everybody involved with Mepranum knows that he never fought there. However, the bout in question occurred at a time when there were many fraudelent philippine boxers such as Pit Anacaya and Joel ??(last name escapes me at the moment) who knowingly used a false passport to perpetrate another boxer and get paid to lose. There probably is much more involved in the controversy behind closed doors :geek: - but it is now pointless unless of course Mepranum wins a world title 8)

^ I understand. It seems that If Mepranum manages to gain large popularity towards his boxing career, maybe, just maybe, this controversy may be put to an end, but this is very unlikely..... for now. Thx for the additional information, god bless! :DD
