advise on claimimg money back from primetime(didnt show it)
Re: advise on claimimg money back from primetime(didnt show it)
Silyl question, but have you tried primetime themselves?
Re: advise on claimimg money back from primetime(didnt show it)
I've tried querying this myself but they don't seem to be giving any other response other than the generic one we have already seen 'we took immediate and decisive action blah blah...'
I tried to contact primetime on the night - couldn't get through, tried everything with the sky box and phone line - didn't work so i gave up in the end (around 12.00) and went to bed in a fould mood having already missed AA-JT (yes ..which i had also paid for primetime!)
The whole operation has been extremely amateur from the start with no email receipt of purchase etc. Screening the entire event 2 days later 'free to air' doesn't compensate for missing the event live. How they can say they took immediate action baffles me..the show started around 10, by 12 i still hadn't received it!

If you paid via credit card say you will perform a credit card charge back as you did not receive the service you paid for

The first Primetime broadcast was always going to have teething problems especially as they put the whole thing together only a few weeks before hand.
I expect their next PPV(Ward vs Kessler?) to be alot more professional and organised.
I'm sure they'll either rebate you the money back or allow you to watch another of their PPV's in the future for free.

I won't be taking the chance on any PPV from crimetime.
In the current economic climate asking anyone to fork out £15 for nothing and decline to refund it claiming that immediate action (hmmm when did this actually come on?..not before 12 anyway) was taken and the Froch fight was still broadcast is nothing short of disgraceful.
Net streams all the way from now on for me!

Thats no excuse mate, are you having a laugh? they had plently of time to get it right. Thankfully as they were too concerned trying to get their garbage actually working, they were too busy to try to stop the free streams going round, which I happily availed of and saw both fights in good quality./exittored wrote:The first Primetime broadcast was always going to have teething problems especially as they put the whole thing together only a few weeks before hand.

If they couldn't guarantee that it would work properly, then they shouldn't have been charging people. It's inexcusable charging for a service you are unable to deliver.
I won't be giving them any of my hard earned cash - 15 quid for a flaky service that I can't be sure will work - no chance.

Has anyone tried calling them to see what they say on the issue of refunds?
I've tried calling after work but they said i need to call before 6pm to speak to a member of customer service (which i'm unfortunately unable to do)
They have totally blanked my emails for the past 3 days also.

If I go to a new restaurant then I expect good food and good service, I wouldn't accept crap food/service and the excuse "Oh well we're a new restaurant" no way, same with a TV service.
I don't work to throw money away, especially at this moment in time.

Mine recorded fine, but one of my mates didn't.
Seems really odd that a load of people's worked and a load did not.
