his opponent is yet to be announced but considering he has only been 6 this should be a good challenge. Is a 10 rounder to soon for groves?

Re: George Groves To Fight 10 Rounder
he'll be in with a soft opponant that can do 10 rounders he shouldnt find it too difficult unless he gases out which i dont think he will
Re: George Groves To Fight 10 Rounder
i think they should of waited till his fight after, not because hes not ready but this will be his 3rd fight in a short space of time
Re: George Groves To Fight 10 Rounder
Hopefully it's not going to be a knockover job. That'll negate the whole point.
Find someone who can't hit for sh*t, who's gone the distance without winning a round against comparable prospects.
There's a definite similarity between Groves and Haye, they shouldn't be afraid of putting him in fights where he's forced to sh*t or go bust should plan A fail and he needs to 'find a way to win'. Hard fights will be the making of him as long as his corner's willing to throw the towel in before any serious damage is sustained. Losses aren't as important as his development.

x2
He's top quality Teddy, he took out Samuels in what was it, his second or third pro fight? Better than DeGale and co in my opinion.

Groves has really impressed me so far I thought Paul Samuels would give him trouble that was such a tough fight to take so early imo. Good to see him step up the rounds doubt it'll go all 10 though

I quite like all of the 'Olympians', they all look like they can achieve something decent in the sport and so far I don't think any of them have let the hype get to them which is good.
I think George Groves looks good too, but there are a couple of good undefeated prospects that seem to be over shadowed at the moment in the Super Middle division.
Look at Kenny Anderson, Dwane Lewis and Eddie McIntosh, by the looks of it, this division looks as though it will carry on its recent tradition of being the best division.
As regards the topic I think George Groves will have no problems with the 10, but I doubt it will go the full 10, maybe it's a sign that they are struggling to fill the bill up.....
