Roach's record

Post by Flav1 »

Just thinking about Roach's record with fighters, and how well he's changed the fortunes of a few. I was wondering if he's ever got things wrong, or hasn't been able to suss out another fighter's weaknesses and find a way for his own boxer to exploit those jinks in armour.

He's the best trainer in the world right?

You can't turn a Fiesta into a Ferrari, a lot of it is down to the fighter but in all fairness he is very good in getting the best out of what he works with.

Don't think he brought the best out of Hopkins and Double M's conditioning at time left alot to be desired - but he is such an inspirational character and seems to be the most adaptive coach around.

i wonder if he's still training Afolabi. Potential British World Champ right there. :DD
Khan's on his way to big things. All this whiskers talk is going to look nonsense when he's there.

Roach has had, and still has, a lot of side projects. I think the ones worth mentioning are the ones he really put some time and effort into, like Pacquiao and, perhaps, Khan.
