Yet again another situation where 2 people have made statements making out they are in posssession of all the facts.

WRONG!!

You have both made assumptions which are incorrect.

Stu Jones especially has made a number of accusations which border on being libellous and as such I am sure he is definitely in possession of all the facts to make the comments he has in the first place. He refers to Lightsoot and ukboxingpress.com, in that case he is definitely not in posssession of all the details ... and if he is so correct why has Ben Carey been involved in ESB and why do we speak regularly on the phone ... Have you checked with Ben before you wrote what you did??

as far as britishboxing.com and secondsout.com ... I will leave that just for now just to see if Mr Stu comes out with any more gems and digs that hole he has got himself into anymore!!

ESB ... gentlemen ... those that have stood by me ... THANK YOU ... some of you really do know what is going on whilst others have made their assumptions and accused and insulted me whilst not knowing why ESB was being run like it was!!

I thank again those that have tried to speak up for me!!

I have been told quite firmly not to say anything concerning why you are banned, and as such I will not!! ... Suffice to say some other poster has come on here and made a number of accusations against you, if you are innocent why don't you explain yourself to ESB.

I was asked whether I agreed ... my view on the whole matter was if people did not want to post on ESB anymore and were slating the place then I had nothing to argue against the proposals.

If you people think boxrec will not have legal problems from personalities in the boxing world complaining about your forthright and honest opinions you are all very much mistaken ... IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE MODERATORS ARE IN FORCE ON A REGULAR BASIS DUE TO THE DIFFERENCE IN LIBEL LAWS IN BRITAIN COMPARED TO THAT OF OTHER COUNTRIES!!

ESB as with many other Boxing Sites will receive a number of legal complaints and to minimise these and as such keep legal costs down it was decided to keep a firm hand on ESB ... I HOPE FOR BOXREC SAKE THEY DO THE SAME!!!

As for the insults and outrageous slatings I have had to face I firmly believe a number of you have been well out of order and you have made a certain amount of assumptions without knowing all the facts ....

I wish you all the very best on Boxrec and hope you enjoy yourselves on here ...

Fair enough but I don't recall slating ESB on their forum, or here at boxrec and I never even hinted at not wanting to post at ESB anymore. What I did do was question the way you were going about things. I think I've learned not to do that in future.

Can I arrange a transfer of posts made on ESB to this site? A bit like nectar points, I had accumulated nearly 200 I think and now I'm back to 16 on this site. It's not fair, I keep losing my history.

Thanks for the warning, but I have contacted Lightsoot and he knows about the first thread I put down and said he had nothing against it. I asked him just after I posted it if there was anything that needed deleting or I said something that I shouldn't.

Thats the thread where I posted as a guest.

Please tell me the things that you mention that are boardering on the liabelous.

PM me if you don't want to say it on the forum,

I will delete it immediately, if I can't/don't have any evidence to back it up.

Just to inform you that I have sent you a PM.

Also, I have deleted some of the comments on some other threads/paragraph's that I have may sounded like it was a personal attack against you. However, it was never supposed to be that way and I'm sorry to anyone who thought that it was.

I've seen some of your comments on ESB about the situation and I take it you mean me. However, I only posted 1 post as guest and from what I can see there's been a fair few "guests" who have been far more personal and abusive about both you and the site. Well they were not me.

Again, I was hoping that the comments made about your admin style and attitude was to be taking as constructive critiscm and not an insult. I don't know you so why would I mean it as an insult.

Remeber when TT said the only person I had hate for was you I put him straight, or so I thought.

I seen some other post say similar comments that I have made (okay not about the British Site situation) but about the admin style and you've said you've taking their comments on board. That's all I wanted you to do.

Do I think the site ESB will be better if it was run by a neutral moderator ( he/she doesn't even have to be a boxing fan or British, just a knowledge of when a post has gone to far) - then I think the answer is yes. I'm sorry if you take offense by this opinion, its not a dig just supposed to be constructive critiscm of the site.

If this site does eventually require moderating I hope boxrec will employ a non-british representative who posts on the general forum.

Thanks, Lightsoot, if you a reading for informing me of the first post and also taking stock of the situation.
