This is a toughie.....toney can be so damn slick , and punch with power and knows how to conserve his energy. Unpredictable though.

But...at this weight , I'll go with Quarry.. a tad unpredictable himself. But I like to judge him from the Ron Lyle fight...a good fast heavyweight fight with Quarry showing at his best...he punched with the tough guy, took some shots, and boxed smartly. He also showed us the 24-0 guy (Mac Foster) who shot up on the ratings could be shot down just as fast by a 35-4-4 guy with experience and superior talent.

I know Earnie Shaver was vulnerable in the later going, but he hit Quarry with a good one and quarry cold cocked him before the EARLY going even got started.

About the only thing I would add to Jaclem's post is that Quarry was a much bigger puncher than Toney. Toney started as a middleweight and Quarry's natural strength advantage would keep Toney from mounting an attack. Toney is slick enough that he might go the distance but thats about it.
