martin murray v tony Quigley
martin murray v tony Quigley
with Quigley moving down I reckon this would be a great fight if it gets made then it should be a final eliminator for the british I think Quigley would stop murray late on

Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
I've heard Quigley is moving down to Light-Middle.
Therefore, the bout with Murray is a non-starter.

Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
Is moving down two weight divisions in one go a good idea?
Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
Quigley is moving down to light middle
Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
Thats a whole stone don't seem sensible to me! I thought he make middle comfortably.
Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
To be fair to Tony everytime I spoke to him he told me he was a light middle and was only fighting at the heavier weights cos that's were the opportunities were?? At 11st he would be much better suited and also have some advantages too!! Size,Strength to name but a few..
Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
How do you think he get on against Small Bomber?
Re: martin murray v tony Quigley
You know what mate, Styles make fights and if you give Tony Quigley 2 fights I think he'd beat Small, imo
Tommy Mc showed the other night the way to beat Small is to do it on the back foot and Tony Quigley is a very good back foot fighter and can be very frustrating for any oppponent.. Small loves fighters to come at him and he wouldn't get that from Quigley!! It was the same reason why I said Ryan Rhodes would stop Small, Small's biggest weapon is his awkwardness and Ryan has seen in all that in the Ingles place so it wouldn't bother him 1 bit!!
If Tommy Mc was a little fitter the other night he'd have got that, Just slacked off the peddle a little..
Rhodes would expose Small I have no doubt about that..

I thought Mcdonagh run out of gas too otherwise he would have won it. Small needs to fight a lot better with entrances like that. Wearing the Spurs shirt then saying I dont even support them!

He's all front Small, Just tries desparatley to get under peoples skin!! It sends him crazy when he thinks he ain't getting to you.. I really do believe Quigley would beat him..
I'll say this 2, A little off subject at the min sorry BUT I have to say that at 11st NO ONE should look past Matty Hall!! He's a new kid since moving over with us he really is, Sparring has been great and he's a little machine he really is!! He has awesome potential and I really think he's gonna do big things!! There a lot of good fight domestically to be made at light middle next year. As most of these fighters are on sky they should get made!

i was really dissapointed with hall in the small fight. after butchering bradley pryce i thought he could go onto european titles. i love his style. he is still young. i think only 24 or 25. plenty of time to bounce backBomber 1 wrote:leforge wrote:I thought Mcdonagh run out of gas too otherwise he would have won it. Quigley will be better suited at MW or LMW he looked a bit fleshy at SMW, Martin Murray needs to step up the competition soon after winning Prizefighter I thought he would get a big few fights but he's just fought journeymen
