FURY VACATING REALLY DOESNT SURPRISE ME , To be honest i think he would have beaten big mac on 2nd time of asking but if it meant chisora was next in frame for it i think hed be wise to vacate , too high risk for too low gain .

I'm happy to say I told u so!!
I knew he wouldn't take it, he will only fight Big John if he gets beat up a few times by the likes of Chisora.
He said he would give him a rematch and has clearly ducked out

Well lets just see when hes back in the ring , as if i was his advisor he wouldnt fight at all if his hand wasnt right . so if he comes into a fight with a foreign import journeyman then we know its bollox and he has blatantly ducked out of it . we all accept he hurt his hand but its to what extent that is being scrutinised.

and besides id hardly describe any of furys fights so far as "wars"

Fury should face the winner. Chisora would be a great match-up.

I would advise him to stay well clear of John, spend a couple of years learning his trade in the gym, feast on the Eastern Europeans for fights and then look at moving up a level.
I feel he has been rushed to much and is not worthy of the hype, he needs to regroup and give himself the chance to really improve

I agree I'd keep him in the gym for 6 months working on his fitness and learning his trade then have a few more learning fights then go for the rematch with mcdermott

I hate saying fighters have ducked each other, but I pretty much agree with you. Time will tell for sure.

Burns is not meant to fight anyone before he challenges Martinez for the WBO title. If this is the case then I don't know why he has been put forward for a British title shot.

The British Super Featherweight title has not been fought for in over 1 year and 9 months. The BBBofC should be looking to have the vacant title fought for as soon as possible, they should not be putting forward challengers for the vacant title who cannot fight for it.

If Burns won't be fighting for it anytime soon, then they should find another candidate to fight Sykes for the vacant title.

The BBBofC's handling of the British Super Featherweight title recently has been pathetic, they should be looking to make amends, not fannying around even more.

If Burns can't fight for it (which seems likely), then that is a good fight for the vacant title.

The only fight that would be better would be Sykes vs Cook, but I don't think that Cook is likely to want that fight.

Why are so many British fighters moving to Lightweight? Mitchell, Rees, Arthur and now possibly Cook. It seems strange.
