Does anyone think Martin Power is looking & sounding a little punchy?

Yes i did wonder a little. But perhaps we're just being a little paranoid knowing the punishment he's been taking lately.

Don to box Haskins ears off, the better fundamentals will come to the fore. If Haskins is true to form it could be a messy one, but I'd be amazed if Don didn't come through this one.

He can string decent posts together on here so cant be that punchy

Would be good to see him get a few wins under his belt
seems a decent fellow on here , even when goaded by another poster ( think its Gary Sykes Brother or something )

Broadhurst to win in convincing fashion (if he doesn't get drawn into an untidy brawl). Haskins can punch and has experience, but Broadhurst if he can keep his cool is class.

God that "fight" was crap. :witzend:

I know it takes two to tango, but Haskins was abysmal. Clearly his experience came into play as well as Broadhurst's lack of it. That's the worse bill topper since.... Small v McDonagh!

Sky....sort it out :witzend:

Haskins' style is horrible, always has been. He either bombs you out or completely negates any action. Broadhurst was pretty clueless too but I suppose you could blame inexperience.

Fair play to Haskins for fighting his fight and the guy has a good quality domestic record but flip me he's dire to watch :D :witzend:

Sounds just a little Irish at times- on 7:41 when he says "right back up there" thats definatly a bit of an Irish twang!

No offence intended Martin and apologies if any caused. Truth be told I've never seen/heard you interviewed so I have no prior reference to how you speak, must be the combination of the lisp/Snatch/Irish twang that threw me!

I'm perhaps a little over sensitive in the area of boxing related injury, good friend of mine (would rather not name) is clearly suffering the effects of his boxing career and it's desperately sad to see him these days

Congratulations on the excellent win last week and all the best for your future

Well please extend my apologies to your wife too Martin. My original comment wasn't intend to ridicule you or cause any upset it was motivated by concern I assure you. As stated in previous post I've never actually heard you speak before so in retrospect it was a pretty stupid and insensitive comment to make

Sorry mate
