I went with Fenech.

Surprisingly tough call, given Australia's relative lack of great Boxing history.

Most accomplished is Fenech but I'd say Les Darcy was our best fighter. Dave Sands shopuld also be in there

He's not listed Buzz. Neither is Young Griffo or Peter Jackson.

Kosta Tszyu is out in front, and personally I don't think he's even top 5. I'd have Peter Jackson at 4 and Johnny Famechon at 5.

From what I've seen the Russian who moved to Australia is the best. Tszyu.

I'm not familiar with Les Darcy's fights so I can't comment on him.

Fenech was a monster in his prime, combining great will and punching power that didn't drop off as he moved up. Gotta go with him over the RussianTsyzu

I suppose Peter Jackson was from the Virgin Islands, though he was often here as
an Aussie. ... much the same as a Joe Bugner or Fitzsimmons were Aussies, I guess.

Darcy is the most famous, even to this day any one over 60 talks of Darcy with so
much admiration and respect. You can not go to rural Australia and come across
an old timer that does not think highly of 'our Les'. It is an ashame that younger
people have a sense of boxing history that extends as far back as Tszyu.

Firpo ?
He was an Argie wasn't he Df?

Not to many old timers that do not talk about Les Darcy
with such sincere admiration.

He should be on the list most certainly.
