the warrior mentality

Post by rhino222 »

some fighters never seem to be in a dull fight, they continually lay it all on the line in a slugfest. its not a case of being a world champion, its just a case of a man having the guts and the big stones to battle it out against even-ish opposition and lay it all on the line for our enjoyment and for his own self esteem.

arturo gatti was a warrior

michael katsidis is a warrior

david walker was a warrior

sebastian hart was a warrior

any more? .... from any level?

Chambers, I like Haye a lot, but there's no way he deserves to be mentioned with some of the other names on here. He's been in a couple of snoozefests and has yet to prove he can come back from the brink when faced with adversity.
He's got a great attitude but he's far from a proven warrior at this stage.

Chris Eubank was a warrior. He was hit with some of the best shots EVER and always came back for more (sometimes it took a SLAP from Ronnie) but I liked his mentality.

Shea Neary - his 'Shamrock Express' nickname was particularly apt.
