Froch or Haye?

Post by gambler49 »

Who do you rank higher?
They are both about the same age, both have KO power and both current world champs, and also they are both mouthy and not as god as they talk.
Haye has acheived a bit more then Froch. But then you could say Froch has beaten better opposition.
Power = about the same. Speed = Haye bye a long way. Skills = about the same. Chin = Froch by a long way. Defense = Haye, but not by much. Stamina = Froch by a long way.
I can't make my mind up on this. So I put it up for debate. I have a feeling peeps are gonna go for Haye. But lets see.

Haye makes Froch look like a plodder and he has much better one-punch power than Froch too

Isn't that more to do with speed than skill?

Who is unbeaten? the skillfull Haye or the plodder Froch ?

They are both great British fighters, both exciting and both similar in some ways yet totally different in others.

Haye is better, imo. He's faster, punches harder (relative to size, of course) and much more skilful. Froch is one dimensional and slow on the World stage, as we've seen in his last two fights.

Haye is better.

Faster, more skillfull, punches harder..

Froch has that chin and stamina, but still not enough in the locker to be as high as Haye P4P.

David Haye - highly impressive the way he has proved practically everyone wrong - what I mean by that is - remember the fall out from the Lolenga Mock fight?

froch has fought the better oppostition and is still unbeaten. He has taken the bigger risks by entering the super six tourney.

Froch has done more .. Haye is just lucky to be at heavyweight, where it isn`t anywhere near as competitive to get to the top.

Yes, yes, better opposition, like when Frochy took on the ruling undisputed number one in his division who just happened to have all the belts. I distinctly remember Froch beating the undisputed champion on his home turf for the title, rather than, say, beating a Canadian in Nottingham for a vacant strap.

Well done. You win a prize.

Haye is better skill wise he has speed, power and skill. Froch is sloppy and clumbsy but somehow effective

As the poll proves it's impossible to seperate the 2 at this time. They're both British Boxings flagship bearers

As good as Froch is, he's yet to beat the recognised number one fighter in his division.

Haye has.

After this Super Six thing is finished, the situation could look a little different. For now though, Haye is slightly ahead. He's won two world titles on foreign soil and also blasted away his number one domestic rival.

This is a good point. With Haye now being a heavyweight people seem to be forgetting he was the unified Cruiserweight Champion and universally recognised numero uno in his natural weight class.

I voted for Haye who I believe is ahead of Froch for boxing skills. For stamina and chin though you have to give it to Froch. I honestly feel Froch will lose his unbeaten record this year, while I see Haye ending the year as a winner.

Haye for me. Froch is yet to beat a reigning world champion. Haye has beaten three now. Two weight world champ who has taken titles away from home and unified a division along with being the recognised #1. Froch is a credit to British boxing and has proven he can operate at world level, but Haye has the edge.

We should bear in mind though, that the SM division is alot stronger than the Cruiser

its not even close haye by miles.

and id say mormeck away in frnace to unify the titles is by far the best win on either resume.

by a fuckin marathon.

coming fomr behind to beat taylor doesnt match up to taking out the unified champ in his backyard any idiot can see that the win against valuev is also better.
As for dirrell well he is an 18 fight novice inworld terms and to be honest made froch look very one dimensional.

Haivn said that i like carl and win over kesller and abraham would put him about on a par.
