Did anyone see this apparent keep busy fight? I would ask on the current scene, but prefer the opinions of people who didnt tip harold shipman to beat lennox lewis just because they heard he had a lethal jab.

I managed to acquire a copy on DVD and watched some of it. It wasn't particually thrilling from what I remember.

I watched the 1st 4 or 5 rounds. Hopkins was kept on his toes - it's not an amazing fight. I'm a hopkins fan, but just couldn't get into this - there was no crowd atmosphere.

From what I remember Hopkins controlled the fight throughout, Ornelas had his best rounds early on to keep the fight competetive but Hopkins was never at any point troubled. After the first few rounds Hopkins ran away with the fight at a steady pace, nothing really spectacular at all. It was a routine keep busy fight for B-Hop and he outboxed Ornelas like you would expect him to.

Hopefully he fights Danny Green next, although BN reporting that B-Hop now wants 60-40 of the purse despite agreeing to 50/50 initially is not good news. I've got a feeling RJJ is trying to get the fight with BH back on with all his allegations regarding the Green fight.
