curry came from 147 to 154 and then to 160 , never being able to make 147 again , that was what hurt him against honeyghan (well , this and lloyd's head , of course) , so , curry bigger than floyd about as fast , stronger , and had the bigger talent of the two , he simply had a much much tougher opposition

it is more probable that curry stops him inside 12 than chavez losing a medicore/large sized decision inside12. curry's power even hurt McCallum in their fight , and this was a post prime curry.
imagine what it could have done to chavez , more so in curry's prime .
not sure when Curry's alleged cocaine problems were occurring but i would guess it was around this time. from memory, McCallum wasn't 'supposed' to beat Curry and they were trying to set Curry up with a belt via McCallum to set up big fights down the line, like maybe a comebacking Leonard or something along those lines.
