I know this is an amateur boxing blog, but please allow me the time to give thoughts and prayers to Haitian amateur boxers like Steve Geffrard of Florida, and Herve Duroseau of NY Metro. And pro champ Andre Berto along with many other boxers who names I missed, along with many Haitians all over the world. May God Bless you through these times. Words cannot describe what has happened recently and I only hope and pray things work out. Steve, the Peterkin family is praying for you. You and Travis had 2 great wars, but right now it's not about that. It's about prayer and healing. You are a great person. God Bless. Herve and Berto, stay strong. We are praying for you guys also. Berto cancelled his fight with Shane Mosley in order to travel to Haiti. According to his web site, Andre has lost members of his family in this tragedy. And don't forget the Augustama brothers from Florida.
