THe powers that be decided the old man's day had passed. Bad decision but in a way it was karma for the Axel Schultz robbery.

stumbling around in bad decision fights against schulz, savarese and to some extent grimsley caught-up with foreman. even the punch was going. bad decision none the less.
Re: George Foreman-Shannon Briggs?
I was scared someone was going to come along and pulp Old George so I was quite pleased with the decision. George had nothing left to prove and was going to continue until he lost.

He absolutely should've ended matters with the fight against Moorer. That was enough.Ezzard wrote:I was scared someone was going to come along and pulp Old George so I was quite pleased with the decision. George had nothing left to prove and was going to continue until he lost.
