Re: John Duddy v Michael Medina on the Pacman undercard
Never heard of the fellow but I'd reckon Duddy will plough through him. The only decent fighter he took on beat him. Although he has never been knocked out so he might be a bit tricky. Still got to go for Duddy though.

Not quite sure how you can say that when you openly admitted youve never heaed of him , you may well be right ,but it wont be based on your boxing knowledge , would just be a lucky guess , its the exact type of comment id expect from the regular casual fan down the pub.ImElvis666 wrote:Never heard of the fellow but I'd reckon Duddy will plough through him. Found two videos of Medina from the first half of his career. Hard to judge him on these but seems to be easy to hit but he does possess nice bodywork and has a nice bit of power. I noticed aswell this will be his first jump up to 160. He went the distance against Martirosyan and judging by the cards seemed to do ok. Hard to know what to make of this fight

Well I did say I never heard of the guy (implying it is an admittedly uneducated opinion, surely you are smart enough to realise that aren't you?) and it was based on the fact that he has only beaten bums and lost to the only quality fighter he took on. Your comment is the exact comment I'd expect for a snotty pudendum.damianhucker1 wrote:Not quite sure how you can say that when you openly admitted youve never heaed of him , you may well be right ,but it wont be based on your boxing knowledge , would just be a lucky guess , its the exact type of comment id expect from the regular casual fan down the pub.ImElvis666 wrote:Never heard of the fellow but I'd reckon Duddy will plough through him. you prat , youve just reiterated my point , if you have never heard of him how can you possibly make any comment as to wether duddy will stroll through it , remember styles make fights , so even the record cant always be taken on face value . in future , think before you type.

You don't really get it do you? Read my point again. You reiterated my original point. I admitted in my post my opinion was based on his record (i.e. not having seen his style). Could I be wrong? OF COURSE!! I don't have a fecking crystal ball and I didn't say the result was a sure thing either. How can you not get it into your head?damianhucker1 wrote:ImElvis666 wrote:Well I did say I never heard of the guy (implying it is an admittedly uneducated opinion, surely you are smart enough to realise that aren't you?) and it was based on the fact that he has only beaten bums and lost to the only quality fighter he took on. Brian Vera wouldn't be a bad option. It would make for a decent slugfest and Vera would generate a little bit of interest from Americans fans. I'm sure Duddy would like to avenge his countryman's loss to Vera too.sligobhoy67 wrote:who would you like to see him fight?MrBoxingUK2 wrote:would like to see duddy fight a better fighter. this kid medina will probly be tough but looks limited
For a him to take on a higher quality fighter. Jamie Moore could be interesting.

Listen pal , im not the one being confrontational , read your own first post !!!!
you said , and i quote "Never heard of the fellow but I'd reckon Duddy will plough through him. The only decent fighter he took on beat him. Although he has never been knocked out so he might be a bit tricky. Still got to go for Duddy though "
you said there that you think duddy will PLOUGH through him , strong opinion that , dont you think , yet in the same quote , your saying you admit that youve never heard of him .
How can you possibly say he would PLOUGH through him , even taking his record into account .
Ill be honest i dont know bugger all about the guy , but your hardly contributing any descent thinking into this thread if you know nothing about the guy .
Dont make predictions based on guesswork .
Not trying to be confrontational at all , just stating the bloody obvious .
A forum is about listening to peoples opinions , but nothing you said makes your opinion valid . its a guess , plain and simple .
Lets just agree to disagree here , let this be the end of all this nonsense.

just to clarify though , yes his record does look like it wont be too difficult , im not saying anything to the contrary , just annoyed me that you wrote him off publicly after admitting youd never heard of him .
But as i said , his record doesnt look great admittedly .

Using personal insults is being confrontational.damianhucker1 wrote:ImElvis666 wrote:You don't really get it do you? Read my point again. You reiterated my original point. By plough I meant he would wear him down and eventually plough through his defense (taking hits) in his typical Duddy fashion. And I agree, let's drop this silly conversation.

Re: John Duddy v Michael Medina on the Pacman undercard
I think you are right. He is much slicker than Duddy. Having said that, it is difficult to judge how Moore's last loss will affect him. Duddy could get a late KO much in the same fashion as Rhodes did. If i was betting though my money would be on a Moore points win.MrBoxingUK2 wrote:think mooresy is too good for duddy. would probs be a good tear up thoImElvis666 wrote:Brian Vera wouldn't be a bad option.
