Sakio is now being advised by Al Heymon in the US. He also has Librado Andrade. Maybe he will look to put that fight together.

seems tough, but is there a point to it apart from a tough opponent?
i havent seen him fight, but i woul imagine sak would put him away. its always good to see that, but if it not leading to anythin then is there a point? cos its not as if itll draw a lot of money. :-?

If sakio had a convincing win against Andrade it would demand he gets a crack at the top dogs once the super 6 is finished.
I dont know if Bika would destroy Andrade though........two very hard heads would be in that ring !!

But a win against Andrade is not what it once was, Bute put all the doubt out of peoples mind when he cracked that jaw recently.

Andrade 2 loss's in a row, if Bika doesn't beat him it's going to make him look bad.

The top 2 smw (excluding super 6 participants) are bute and andrade. A win over Andrade means a fair bit at this point in sakios career, much more than any other fight out there other than bute again.

Steigletz is also in the mix, he's been on a roll of late.Although Andrade did stop him it was a great fight.

Brian Magee justed stopped Mads Larsen, I'd be happy with this fight.

Jesse Brinkley...Battle of the contenders.Paul Smith is a fight i wanted to see Sakio in The contender 3 series.

Realistically by the time Sakio eventually gets a major fight he'll need 1 of these guys names on his record for a tune up.

He's in the prime years of his boxing and isn't fighting. His last real fight was 15/16 months a go.

I heard that Bika offerd Garth Wood $50,000 to fight him but Wood laughed at him and said he wouldn't get out of bed for less than $150,000.

Interesting mentality.

At this stage in his career i find that a poor mentality. Perhaps he didn't fancy ending his career for only 50K.

Jesse Brinkley would be a very good fight, Jesse is a very tough fighter.

I think its utter shiet that his fight with Green feel through, Green is not worthy of the super six and this will be proven with his first fight.

Sakio v Soliman 3 lets get it cracking!!!!

Marlin, is that Wood stuff for real?

Yeah mate, it's real. As toppo said it might not be worth ending his career for 50k, especially when a $250,000 fight with Mundine is just around the corner

Brinkley would be a good choice too. He just went to war with once hyped Curtis Stevens on espn last week and came away with a win. They are calling it an early candidate for foty.

edit: Brinkley v Stevens was for the IBF #2 spot. Bika is rated #4. The #1 spot is vacant.

It would seem logical that Bika v Brinkley could be done where the winner gets that spot and becomes Butes mandatory.

Johnson just beat Mack the other day. I'd like to see one of the Aussies get him down here. Green would be my preference but if Bika can get it done then great!
