Chisora won RSF round 2.

Sounds like a true night of the Champions so far.

Always quite liked McDonagh, thought he was better than his record suggests.

Good win for Gavin when he finishes it.

Frankie Gavin....some great skills but serious lack of power and I guarantee this will let him down as he moves into European/world class.

Developing a dis-liking for DeGale, don't like his attitude or the way he comes across in interviews etc.

Mitchell looks good, looking forward to his fight.....

But you cant guarantee that.He has tried to bang everyone out so far,i reckon when he boxes someone he knows is better and sticks to his boxing he will be extremely hard to beat.Hes only had six bouts, remember

I know what you mean about DeGale, but I see him going further than Mitchell and Gavin.

It seems 'Chunky' has decided he wants to try and take the badboy/unlikeable angle.
Shame, as anytime I see him before he turned over and during the Olympics I found him quite likeable.

A lack of power never held Pernell Whitaker back...

Yes and there are countless other fighters who have lacked power and gone on to do big things and I don't think Gavin is feather fisted either. He has excellent boxing ability and that alone will get him far.

Clev didnt win the opener in my mind.

He's doing better, but still looks unsettled.

I think Gavin will go very far, but maybe we should never ever bring up a Pernell Whitaker comparison again!!!!!! :o

Won't do the lad any favours.

Funtime is very, very good(certainly good enough to contest world honours at some stage imo obviously), but he certainly ain't no sweet pea :TU:

Good win for Clev. Was a bit weary for him at first, but he pressed on and got the win in style.

I think he should make a few defences now, he's in no rush at just aged 22 - given that the big guns at Light heavy are all experienced, which is the one thing Clev needs a bit more of right now.

Great win for Cleverly. Watching the Cox fight just now. Really not seeing a lot of progress in him. Too busy looking for a brawl rather than using his skills. Disappointing.

I mentioned Pernell because he is Frankie's favourite fighter and to demonstrate that weight of shot of far from the sole barometer of a fighter's potential.

Very few fighters in history have been able to match Whitaker for boxing brain and ability so it is hardly a slight to say Frankie isn't going to get to Sweet Pea's level.

That said, I dont think power (or lack of it as Teddy insists) will stop Frankie from reaching his goals..

Both Degale and Gavin are very good technical fighters and as long as they don’t believe the HYPE they will go a long way.
