James Toney is a big 217.

Evander Holyfield is a trim and ready 219.

Holyfield by a somewhat controversial split decision.

I'm picking Toney by UD in the prediction league purely to make it more exciting for me. If I go for Evander it could be a very frustrating 36 minutes if he can't pick up the pace. Whereas Toney is certain to win the first 4 rounds so it'll be fun seeing if he can keep it up or whether carrying 217lbs will start to wear him down.

A point about Evanders "2 wins in his last 7" situation. Yeah it looks bad but really - a draw and a loss were to someone called Lennox Lewis (and many thought Holyfield won the rematch), he had a draw in the 3rd match with Ruiz that most thought he dominated, and he had a decision loss to Chris Byrd where he had virtually no use of the right arm. Of the 5 contests where he didn't get a win only Evanders loss to Ruiz was truly conclusive - and he still managed to nearly KO the quiet man. It looked over after that but then came the controversial rubber-match draw and the impressive showing against Rahman in 2002.

I'd say if the repaired shoulder story is 100% true then Holyfield could look pretty good tonight.

Toney reckons he can't miss that "big-ass chin" well if Holyfield is on form maybe he won't miss that "big-ass head" !!
