Groves v Samuels was a perfectly fine stoppage.

That was terrible, but Harris is like the boy who cried wolf, remember when he protested about his loss to Witter even though Witter knocked him up in the air.

Yes I posted about this in the current scene, terrible stoppage. One clean punch landed, Harris wasn't even wobbly and the referee steps in. WTF!

I posted about it on the CS too. Horrible stoppage and I know we shouldn't jump to conclusions but what possible legitimate excuse could the referee have for stopping that!

There must be different definitions of perfectly fine. I am sure if Groves had been hit with what Samules was hit with that night, the ref would not have stopped it. It`s not like Samuels was a novice or a guy with no chance at all, we saw against Renda that he can take it and dish it out. For me at least, it was a poor stoppage.

Absolute disgrace is what that was. Harris trains his arse off for a fight and then gets stopped like that. I can't even begin to imagine how angry he must be. This is the kind of thing that kills boxing and it happens time and time again. :witzend:

agree with everyone else.

awful stoppage.

that would be bad in amateur boxing.

let alone pro boxing. :o

harris reaction was funny though.

should have taken hatton's money when u had the chance. :TU:

otherwise u wouldn't need to be taking on prospects in mexico for pittance. :KO:

Samuels was hurt every time Groves threw the right and Groves couldn't miss him. I was there, Samuels was unsteady on his legs and could have been stopped when he went over.
