Cleverley is not ready yet, probably about 18months away. He needs more seasoning and development before the likes of fringe world class like Erdei.

erdei's made about 10,000 WBO defenses, and just relinquished a WBC cruiser title.

you think he's gonna challenge for the European title on a FW show????

slow down lads...

Who said its on a Fwank show? Its an easy fight and might pay for them to get it in Erdei country - then Erdei vacates and allows a camp member to fight for it..Stranger things have happened.

Won't this go to purse bids? Fwank won'lt take the fight, but I would like to see it!

I`m pretty sure Erdei would take the fight .. an easy pay day. Cleverly isn`t ready for the likes of Erdei quite yet..

Erdei might fight Cleverley if they could make it for the WBO title sometime down the line, but I can't imagine why he would step down to fight for a European belt, regardless of where it was contested. I also think if for some strange reason Erdei decided to challenge for the title it would be wise for Cleverley to vacate. I don't think he'd beat Erdei right now and it would be a huge risk for him with a very low reward, considering it would only be a defense of the Euro belt.

There is huge reward in beating the undefeated cruiserweight champion 2 weight champion.

If he vactates it shows he is not a real champion....

Spot on.

It won't happen, mainly because for Erdei it's too low reward even if it is low risk.

I'm not convinced Cleverly will ever be ready to beat Erdei, and it certainly wouldn't happen if they fought anytime soon.

As others have said, Erdei won't take it, I can see Universum setting him for a shot at the WBA champ Campillo if Brahmer ends up not doing a stretch.

If the fight did happen Erdei would win. He would represent a massive step up in class, that Cleverly hasn't been prepared for at this point.

The risk/reward ratio is massively in Cleverly's favor.

Its Erdie who wont accept the fight. Erdie has absolutely nothing to gain by fighting a livewire like Cleverley. I think Cleverley and Frank would accept this fight in a heartbeat. Whats the worst that could happen? A UD loss against an undefeated seasoned 2 weight champion at 22yrs :o

Erdei is pants anyway. I'd give Nathan a very good chance of retaining his Title.

Anyone who is missing the fact that this would be a good fight for Cleverley to take is misguided bigtime. Anyway, still wouldn't expect it to happen because Erdie's (0) alone is worth a lot more than Cleverley's (0) on Erdie's record.
