Good fight this one, gone under the radar with all the other rumours and counter rumours at Light Welter / Welter.

I have been impressed with Alexander so far. People forget he is still quite young (23). He fights with a good maturity for his age. Just 21 when he beat DeMarcus Corley. Not the biggest puncher, so will always have to do things the long way - and if he does lose his discipline then Urango has the big punch..... although nothing so far suggests he is chinny.

So I am going to Alexander's speed and savy to keep Urango off for a wide UD.

I've seen a fair few of his fights, nothing really to have gone "wow he has a great chin". Witter landed a few, but not one of his big punches - Corley landed far too sporadically to make him pass the test. He's not even buckled his legs so far (from the fights I've seen) although, I'm sure Urango will provide an answer to the question.... I just think it will be far to sporadic for him to captilise fully on.

I've a sneaky feeling Alexander might win this by stoppage, Urango has had some tough battles recently and was quite badly busted up against Bailey before stopping him.

Listen, this is how it works. Hatton will probably fight the winner of this. Both guys know they can get a decent pay cheque after winning here. Urango lacks something at world level. Devon will UD him its just a case of can he look good!

I cant Ricky hatton fighting another southpaw, let alone a slick one in his prime like Alexander.

Im not sure we will see Hatton in the ring anymore.

I like Urango here, Alexander is a slick fighter but he's still unproven at this level in my opinion because Junior Witter was poor on the night.

Urango has only lost to a form Ricky Hatton and to Andre Berto and I dont think Alexander are in their league, Urango is powerful and he just keeps on coming, so he will give him a real tough fight.

Stopping Urango is some achievement so props to Alexander. Maybe the US networks will see Alexander-Bradley to be a match up worthy of air time now

I was thinking your post was a good call actually.

I knew Urango would eat at least DOUBLE the leather he could land himself and assumed we'd see a cut/closed eye or retirement in the later rounds.

Didn't think he was a soft-puncher, but neither thought he hit hard enough to dent Urango.

I've always thought Urango was very limited and perhaps his southpaw stance gave him a slight factor along with his brute strength from that dubious looking physique he has.
