Tyrone Nurse

Post by rhino222 »

Well done to Chris Astons son Tyrone for his 'off the canvas' win at the weekend, it was shown on FFN. Hey Tyrone, i bet you learnt more from that fight than all the others put together eh??

Had you been on the canvas as an amateur?

I've known Tyrone a few years and also watched him sparring a few good fighters too.. I was always impressed with him, He's got all the qualities of a good fighter!! Lovely moves too, Can be very slick when he wants to.. He'll do well I think, Still very young don't forget so when he matures he's really gonna be something!! :TU:

First time Rhino, was so embarrassed! Worst thing about it was the fact that i wasn't hurt in the slightest!

well the key thing is tyrone is that you will learn from it, but i was pleased you did not rush back to your feet, take the full 8 on your knee like you did, i thought you showed a lot of maturity. im guessing it was a shot that you never saw coming.

im sure your dad has given you lots of tips on what to do when you taste the canvas, he can relate to it you see !! .... :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes:

only joking chris !!!! :box:

and another thing tyrone, i think it will actually help you develop your career, as other fighters will think that they can land the same bomb, and it might leave them open for you to get your own shots off. hopefully you will get a few stoppages soon mate.

Tyrone recorded his first stoppage victory tonight. Stopped tough and dirty journeyman Johnny Greaves in the fifth. Out of 49 previous defeats, Greaves had only been stopped 7 times so fair play Tyrone. :TU:

Dint have much to worry about defensive wise!
Time for a step up....has been for a while!
Alot of fighters wont take the fight, considering i punch like a girl and all the rest :TU:

As for Brian Jeff, i felt he looked weak when Maxwell pushed him back to the ropes and worked! But the shot that ended it land perfect....and the result was brutal!
Didn't get to speak to him after or that, but really felt for him!

best ive seen from nurse last night so far , his punches were more fluid and seemed like he had more of a killer instinct in him , although ive only seen one or 2 of his bouts on sky i think so maybe not the best judge of it being his best performance , but he definately looked more comfortable than ive seen him before.

Bad knockout I heard, real shame. Knew Maxwell would be dangerous- can't for the life of me see the sense in that matchup with a british title fight looming. Push a body puncher backwards and they lose all their levarage. I'll have to watch it though.

Good to see you doing well though mate. Lets hope you can get some sort of title shot in the near future. Was great watching you spar with Ricky Burns that time, if thats any indication of your abilities then you have a future at, at least British Commonwealth level.

It was a good show friday night, apart from awful traffic!
Tyrone boxed very well, infact he was so good, he paid for all the fighters DVDS, (just kidding)
Maxwell threw one hell of a right hook, that kid can be dangerous!!
