How isn't Bobby Chacon in the HOF?

I've lived through his prime and saw all of his big fights. Look at his record and watch the videos and tell me why he isn't a hall of famer? The man could fight and would die for your entertainment. You can throw out the Mancini fight as he was shot and brain damaged at that point. What a man he was.

he's in the international boxing hall of fame.

The Boxing halls of fame are absurd in their qualifications, and based on some of the people that have made it he obviously fits.

But if I had my way, he wouldn't be hall of fame caliber. He was a minor champion who had awesomely entertaining fights. The halls of fame should be for the best of the best, not the most entertaining.

bobby chacon definitely deserves to be in the IBHOF! he was one of the very best featherweights of his era, fought the best feathers and all his fights were very exciting. anyone saying he doesn't deserve to be a HOFer simply knows nothing about boxing!

bobby chacon is in both IBHOF and WBHOF and he deserves every bit of those accolades! llike i said before, one of the most exciting and crowd pleasing champions in the 70's and 80's.

Don't forget it's called Hall of Fame not hall of the all time greats.

Chacon was a solid champion who thrilled fans and he certainly deserves to be there.
