Thank God Barney doesn't have any fans

Post by bennie »

The atmosphere tomorrow night in Portsmouth for Oakey against Barney is going to be raucous to say the least. Most of Oakey's fans are football supporters and will spend the whole afternoon drinking and watching the England game. Then they'll be coming to the show. Given the fact Barney is from nearby Southampton, it doesn't bode well for the night's events. Of course, Barney has very few supporters, which in this case is a blessing. But I still wouldn't be surprised if there's trouble tomorrow night.

Good point, I pray your wrong. I forgot about the Southampton/Portsmouth thing. Yes, I know their footballing rivalry is intense.

Don't forget Lee Beavis makes his anticipated debut on the bill, he should be an exciting addtion to the lightweight mix.

Surprised that there haven't been many comments about the fight. Came as quite a shock just wished I had managed to watch it though I did manage to see the Jamie Arthur fight.

Real-Deal - I'm a Southampton chap born & bred, and sincerely hope I never have the misfortune to witness another bout featuring Mathew Barney....

Going home for a Pot Noodle & a Wank holds far more appeal......
