Im glad Frank is the 1st writer ive seen to admite Ruiz HAS been dropped 3 times and isnt the best thing since Joe Louis.

IT really gets up my nose when sportsmen like Joe Calzaghe cite 'boredom' as an excuse for using cocaine.
In the last few years Calzaghe rarely had more than two fights a year, which equates to 20 out of 52 weeks training.
So what did he do to alleviate his 'boredom' in the eight months between fights? It is a stupid argument.
He is a 38-year-old man with two young sons and is talking about managing and promoting fighters.
What kind of an example does he think he is setting?
Calzaghe talks of the 'long days' since his retirement. But he had a career - promoting.
He stopped promoting, though, because his two small hall shows lost money.
I cannot think of many promoters who did not lose cash when they started out.
Most lose money until they are established or produce a box office star - me included. It took me years, not two shows.

MARCOS MAIDANA, released from his fight against Amir Khan, did not take long in crushing Victor Cayo at the Hard Rock café in Las Vegas at the weekend. Cayo was well and truly KO'd.

Ruiz has lost three of his last six - two of them against lumbering Nikolay Valuev. It's an easy night for David Haye.

It's hard to decide who I hate the most - Calzaghe or Warren.

Considering the history there is between I am not really surprised by allegedly's comments at all regarding Joe Calzaghe at all as Calzaghe took him for a couple of million in the High Courts due to unpaid fees after the Bernard Hopkins fight taking into account Calzaghe's dabble with the devils dandruff. But I do agree with Warren stating Calzaghe should have stuck out more with the Promotions Business mind you.
