Tough as teak is term used far too often by our commentators, especially in respect of fighters from Ghana. However, Celestine Callebero`s opponent last night, the indonesian Daud Cino Yordan, was certainly worthy of the name tough as teak.
He took a mighty pating from start to finish, but still kept throwing back and showed pure heart to stick it out for the 12 rounds. This is the sort of guy that would give REAL problems to any of our domestic featherweights, in fact, I think he would stand a great chance at beating all of them.
Callebero is a solid fighter, but may lack the power at featherweight. Great fight though, if a little one sided. I believe callebero threw over 1200 punches in the fight.
