According to timekeeper Damian Membrey, Heath lay motionless for about 2 minutes.

Leaping left hook, from what I could make out
Re: Maxwell/Ellis Round 4
I remember reading a few boxing mags a few years ago about how great of an amateur Ellis was. It's a shame things have turned out like this in the pro ranks. Those big wild swings of his didn't look good.
Re: Maxwell/Ellis Round 4
That's a couple of good upset wins for Super Steve now, he has become a bit of a spoiler...
Re: Maxwell/Ellis Round 4
I watched his rise through the amateur ranks and, on one hand, saw him win the state schoolboys title with, quite literally, one punch (lead right to the sternum of his opponent) and , on the other hand, lose badly to those who stood up to his bullying style.
I've always said that Heath is no world beater, but is an exciting and entertaining domestic level fighter. His uncle tells me it's all over for him and he'll never fight again. I hope he's wrong.

Re: Maxwell/Ellis Round 4
Heath did not look like he had a hope, did he? Maxwell really flattened him.
If Lester advised Heath to retire it is good advice.
