Suggestions on Ricky Hatton's next opponent

I personally feel it will be the emaciated David Blaine.

Good call Bennie although I feel a strong outsider could be Ian Duncan-Smith should he be deposed at the leader of the opposition prior to December.

No I think Blaine would be too ambitious at this stage.

His levitating could cause Ricky all sorts of problems.

Antonio Cervantes maybe?

Ricky will be in action in December and allegedly's preferred opponent is the ghost of Christmas past.

Stick Daniel Van Der Wiele in with Hatton. But for him, the Brodie-Chi fight would have been announced a draw in the ring, there would have been little controversey and Brodie would have got rightful acclaim for his terrific performance.

i'd like to see him step up vs vivian harris.harris seems to have some sort of grudge with him.it would be a huge step up in class, but i think hatton would have a chance to outwork him

With Frank Warrens recent standard of matchmaking I wouldnt be surprised if he coaxes Terry Marsh out of retirement.

Warren might try and justify it by saying that Marsh is unbeaten and held a proper version of the world title.

I reckon Frank could sell Ricky Hatton v Ricky Jervais.

1) It's a domestic showdown.
2) Both are unbeaten.
3) Both are called "Ricky".

There's a MEN sell-out angle there somewhere.

Frank could even wheel out his most over-used and highly-abused statement:
"Compares to Benn-Eubank I".

Purleaase.

you'll never be a Hatton fan  i saw you set the record straight with the rumours that you had reinvented yourself as Khanfan on doghouse. There is so crazy shit going on over there at the moment and i'm happy to be here.

You mean the clueless morons who know absolutely nothing about boxing?

To be fair though it isn't just Khan who has those sort who follow him, there's a lot of Hatton and Calzaghe "fans" who are just as bad with their "come on kill the c**t" attitudes.

yeah i know maybe i was being a bit harsh but the night i was refering to the Morons were out in force.
I know what you mean mate, I was at Hatton v Maussa in 2005 and was stuck next to a couple of chavs who were coming out with the "come on Ricky! kill the "spic" bastard" while I'm stood right next to them with my hispanic girlfriend. I was gutted that night because I saw the unease on her face and it really put me off the big fights, I stuck mainly to small hall stuff after that. I've heard from mates that have been to Khan fights that the atmosphere is really edgy and there's some real rabid feckers who follow him around.
