Old(ish) but good news.

Post by stujones »

This thread will not generate much posts on here, but on a personal level - I'm really glad that US, spanish language channel, Telefutura have got their toes back into boxing.

They often showed the prospects of Golden Boy Promotions in action and really their coverage was fantastic - I couldn't understand a word of it, but I didn't need to - cause it was all action.

Some of the best fights I've seen have been on this channel, this is where I saw Roman Martinez in action and from that knew he was going to be a handful for Nicky Cook. Also love watching the Villa boys in action - they will probably not be world champions ever but always action packed.

I aint sure if Telefutura sell an international feed, but if Primetime were looking at more fights to become a subscription based or "season ticket" led channel - then I advice them to consider Telefutura fights as cheap, but entertaining, bouts.

I agree. Spanish and German channels would be a great addition.

Yeah, Azteca America (think they are Argentina'n but not sure) and Telemundo are also great. Azteca America used to show JC Chavez Jnr fights on a very small delay (less than a day) from the a PPV for free.
