Renaldo Snipes - Dave Smith 4/11/79?

According to the 1981 RRB, Renaldo Snipes KO'd a Dave Smith in 3 in White Plains, NY on April 11, 1979. The fight is not on Snipes' BoxRec record. However, there was a card in White Plains that day, AND BoxRec shows a winless heavyweight "Dave Smith" fighting out of New York State in 1978. Anybody know if this fight happened and needs to be entered? My only source is the above-mentioned RRB.

Although I cannot verify the bout with the NY Times, it does verify the card taking place on that date. I have entered it as it does seem legit, Snipes' bouts before and after were at that venue. If anyone has information contrary to this decision, feel free to delete. Thanks for the heads up, sweetsci.
