Greatest Super Bantam of Recent times.

Post by stujones »

NB - Purposefully ommitted Naz cause he would be the undoubted winner.

Excluding Naz..... who do you think is the greatest Super Bantamweight in Britain and Ireland (I'll get that out of the way) in recent times.

Not necessarily meaning achievements..... although if thats your arguement point then use it.

I was thinking more, who would you expect to win if they all fought each other (not ala Prizefighter).

We've had some good successes at European and World level at this weight devision in recent years.

I think Brodie would have came out on top if it was a tournament between all of them.

Brodie was easily the best. Achievement wise suppose Duke needs to be seriously considered and h2h Spencer Oliver beats most of them. As impressive as Munroe was the other night he doesn't appear to be in the class of some of the fighters on that list.

Billy Hardy was an outstanding fighter and very unlucky not to get the nod in his first world title shot against Canizales.I went for Brodie, though, thought he was brilliant at his best.

Duke McKenzie, even though he spent most of his career as a fly/bantamweight, is the pick of the crop for me.
