Looks like this is finally going down. I'm not as sold as other people on Donaire, i feel he still lives in the lime-light of his KO of Vic and hasnt done much since.

Both guys have alot to prove in this bout. Looking forward to this one.

This is disapointing There's no excuse from Donaire, Vic's ranked higher than him P4P and in his weight class, Vic is the unified champ, Vic has some of the biggest wins of the 2 since they met, and worst of all Donaire already holds a very crushing defeat over Darchinyan.

Now wait, i'm expecting someone to say he's been there..done that...and fair enough in some eye's, but if he's that confident, there's a bigger payday than he's ever had,there's a chance to become a unified and undisputed champion at a new weight, it doesn't add up..I smell fear!!

I was reading an article on RingTv.com who had interviewed Nonito about his upcoming fight with Hernan Marquez, in this interview he states that this is his last fight at 115 because his physician is telling him its taking a toll on him and the only reason he stayed at this weight was to fight Vic, who he claims backed out of this fight (which he did after they sat on the contract for 6 weeks without signing it)

I'm curious to know why the Ring rate this clown at 4 in the P4P rankings when the only name he has faced is Vic, and that was 3 years ago. Why is this guy so highly praised yet unproven

I had no idea Donaire was rated so highly by The Ring but it shouldn't really surprise me because The Ring makes a lot of mistakes when it comes to their rankings and the quality of their content is at an all-time low. There is no way he is the fourth best fighter in all of boxing. His resume certainty shouldn't earn him a place there and while he has looked very good at times, it has been against no one special, bar Vic. No pound for pound elite fighter would struggle with Rafael Concepcion the way Donaire did.

Is Vic still going to fight at Super Flyweight? I thought after he won the IBO Bantamweight title he was staying at 118.
