Just wanted to drop a note and say how impressed I was with Wayne Brooks in the prizefighter. He was hungry and aggressive against Herbie Hide.
Showed some great heart even after getting put down. I know Wayne Brooks has a loss on his sheet, but if you look at the pedigree Herbie Hide has stopped in 3 rounds throughout his career.. Hats of to Wayne Brooks even for the loss.

Spot on he really did show great heart and deserves a lot of credit for it...

I think it would be good to see him fight Hari Miles for the CW Welsh title.

Yeah, all credit to Brooks, showed so much heart.
But dissapointed in Hide to be honest. He thought everyone was just going to drop after one punch and that he just had to turn up to win it. But it didn't work out like that.
I feel the he may have been glad that he got cut, so he had a legit excuse to get out. He burnt alot of energy against Brooks and looked real tired. And deep down may have knew that Lewis D may have beat him.
Always said it was pointless and far to risky for him to go in somethinglike that.

Spot on Herbie was blowing for tugs after the 1st... JLD would have beaten him I firmly believe that... Herbie believed his own hype going int that tournament he really did. BUT I feel he has always believed in that hype and that's the reason he was beaten by fighters such as Chingangu if that name is correct???Cotto16 wrote:Yeah, all credit to Brooks, showed so much heart.
