history on micky brooks from camberwell.

hi there!

Can anyone tell me when a ex-boxer Mick Brookes fwho came out of Camberwell died?
All I know is that he died in Uxbridge Middlesex and his funeral was in Peckham London, but i have
no information what day,month or year-it may be 2004/2005/2006-so if anyone does know could they please let me
know?

What I do know about him is that he was a welterweight and had 16 fights from 1966-1998 so his career was not very long.

If any one has ANY other information, like... what became of him once his boxing was over?... when/or if he married?
Did he have children?..... If so how many?.... did he move to uxbridge?.... What career did he have after boxing?????

ANYTHING would be greatley appreciated!!

Hi dan from kent, my name edward brooks the eldest son of four boys, three of who also took up the noble art, his first son after a brief amatuer career with hollington boys boxing club in camberwell and the fitzroy lodge in lameth, turned pro with 6 wins 1 loss 1win by tko.His second son won almost everything as a amateur from school boy champion of grt britiain,nabc champion of grt britian,and junior ABA champion of grt britian.The thired son got robbed in the finals of the feds by tony collins.After boxing my father had many jobs,from scaffolder,steel fixer,and in the end was a dustman who lived in the elephant and castle.My father then moved to mddx in1999 and passed away on the 29,6, 2002 I was very suprised to see a message for my father so many years after his death which was caused by cancer even though you sent a message in 2002,i hope this information has helped you,also i am interested to know who you are,if you would like to get in touch my email address is [email protected],thankyou.
