Card held in Paris, 26 October 1912

Post by -KOKid- »

According to Boxing (News), the following bouts were held at Wonderland in Paris.

Charles Olive W4 Barnes

I can't fugure out who Barnes is.
I'm thinking it might be Frankie Burns as his manager, Al Lippe, was always bringing American fighters to Paris.
There's even a notice in the Janesville Daily Gazette on 12 August 1912 that says Lippe is planning on bringing Burns to Paris.
But nothing on Burns' record suggest he was in Paris at the time of his possible fight with Olive.
I suggest you create a "new" fighter called Barnes until this mystery is sloved.

Bouzoni W6 Jack Gatehouse

As for Bouzoni, it could be either Albert or Maurice.

Charlie Thomas DQ9 C. Christian
Thomas declared winner when Christian refused to continue after low blow.
From Boxing: "The blow was not hard, but sufficiently so to make Christian cry out. The latter was unable to continue, and the judges having concurred in the belief that no foul occurred, gave their decision in favour of Thomas."
