Anyone going to Bury for this one know anything about his opponent ? Andrey Kostin from Russia - never heard of him but I rate Quigg very highly. Heard it was selling well - are there tickets left ?

ive never seen quigg box but everybody tells me hes the real deal is it on t.v anywhere?

you can watch it on www.brandhatton.com for £2.99 quigg looks class to me at only 21, im sure he only had about 8 amatuer bouts aswell.

terrible opponent for top of the bill but oh well, quigg is fighting for the ebu title later this year.

I still havn't seen him box either but he has an impressive win over Voronin who was a decent operator in his day. Have heard of Kostin before, probably from boxing Truscott a while back.

I matched Quigg for his first handufl of fights and he can realy fight i expect him to be up there in a few years

i've heard quiggs done 900 tickets of his own back,so you can expect a cracking atmoshpere there.
i think he our brightest prospect in this country at the moment seems to have all the attributes to make it

Just to clarify - the whole show from Bury will be shown live tonight. Boxing due to start at 8pm but the stream will start at 7 with a couple of Scott Quigg's previous fights and some interviews etc.

still not a worthy opponent mate, quigg is 17-0 kostin is a poor fighter and not a worthy match up for top of the bill IMO. quigg is fighting for the european title this year...what will this fight learn him?

We all said the same about Jamie Moore's last opponent. How does Quigg deserve a European shot? Oh wait, he is a Hatton fighter isn't he! He has one decent win in 17 fights and hasn't fought any decent domestic operator yet.

This kid is only Scotts 3rd opponent out of 18 with more wins then losses on his record wow

okay totally agree with you, how quigg is ranked 4rd or 4th by the ebu is a bit trange, he needs to fight a few good domestic fighters and soon.

Quigg is top quality, without doubt one of the top prospects in British boxing. Holds some very impressive stoppages as well in his last couple of fights. Let's hope Brian Hughes and Pat Barrett can take him to the very top.

Well, I was wrong (again) - one round. Quigg looks ready to make some noise.

Fantastic effort Scott - watched it on the web in the end but it was a great effort. Can't believe people are knocking him - you can only beat what is put in front of you. Sure he hasn't fought for a title yet but from the interview with the Hatton guy (williams?) it seems the next one will be for the English at least.

id like to see scott quigg vs josh wale / ricky owen for the english ,either would be a good test
