Old ratings
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find old rankings (WBC/WBA/IBF etc) from say the 80s and 70s? Thanks

Boxing magazines like Ring often had the top 10 WBC and WBA from the 1970s and 1980s. The IBF was not around until 1984 I believe. Old issues of the USA Today newspaper sometimes would print the monthly ratings from the 1980s for the these organizations.
They are often funny to look at. Interesting that one organziation will have a contender #1 (Often when that organiziation is trying to make that upcoming fighter's title shot seem legitimate.) At the same time another "Governing Body" won't have the guy ranked in their top 10.

Alas, I no longer have any of my Ring back issues. I was wondering if there was an on-line source like a records archive.
