I have the video so people can judge for themselves. I really wasn't watching the whole bout but I think Watson outworked McCarthy who was more tired towards the end.

well you must of not caugth the whole fight becasue mccarthy was winning the whole fight and in the first and second rounds he was killing watson except the third ryan watson had a good 30 seconds at the end but mccarthy was going forward landing alot of punchs and not getting credit also mccarthy was fouled and the ref gave no warnings and ryan was a very dirty fighter but yea i thought he did enough work to carry himself to about a five point win :bag:

I just watched it again and I'm sticking with my 1st opinion. McCarthy doesn't throw straight punches. I saw maybe two or three the whole bout. His punches are wide and he doesn't turn over his hook--so out of the hundred punches he threw he only received 6 pts. It was a rough bout for two big guys but Watson is not dirty. I don't agree with that. Both boxers were tired from all the punches they were throwing, but Watson scored more in the last minute of the bout than he did the rest of the 2 and a half rounds. The final score was 8-6. The bout video will be up late tonight or tomorrow a.m.

i agree with brookiller i was there and i think mccarthy should of gotten the nod he was landing alot of flush blows even if they werent all straigth they were landing with the white part of the gloves and he was hurting watson bad and ryan seem to grab the back of his head and spin him off the ropes which is a foul plus the ref didnt do anything about watsons low blow, mccarthy was given some time but i think the rule is that if you get a standing 8 count then they should take away a point, the ref in the bout was horrible :witzend: in my opinion mccarthy won the bout hands down... he gets my nod

i can see dcs agrument he makes a good point ill stick with my opinion but i think that he has good argument mccarthy at the end of the fight was doin basically nothing the last 30 seconds when he was gettin hit hard on the ropes i still think that he did enough but i respect dcs point
