A good 'trade' match takes place on the Clinton Woods-Glencoffe Johnson bill next Friday in Sheffield. Local banger Patrick "PJ" Maxwell (who I believe has posted on here) takes on Wolverhampton's Conroy McIntosh. Maxwell, who kayoed Coventry's Andy Halder in 15 seconds earlier this year, has won his last five in a row since a surprise points loss to Walsall's Jason Collins in 2001 - and is a potential threat to anyone on the domestic middleweight front. He will be favoured to improve his record of 7-1 (5) against McIntosh, who has twice lost to the aforementioned Halder (on points). But McIntosh has never been stopped in his career to date, despite being matched tough from the start. Last time out in September, he took the unbeaten Roddy Doran 10 rounds in Doran's own hometown of Shrewsbury.
So, like I say, this is a good match.
