Boxing Fans,

We're in the works of creating a USA amateur boxing ranking system for our amateur boxers! There has been a demand for a ranking system of our boxers but this will be a huge undertaking as it would require participation from our boxing community.

Why?
Ranking is a great motivating tool for boxers and trainers. It gives a quick scope of our boxers to see if they're improving or not.

Where?
FrontPageBoxing. The webpage will be FrontPageBoxing.com/amateurs/rank The page will give you links to ranks based on weight class and Pound 4 Pound!

When?
This may initially start off in its beta form after the US Open Nationals and we'll take it from there.

How?
We will need participation from the amateur boxing community to send us their list of ranking boxers. The two groups of voters will be 1) Officials, trainers, boxers, organizers (anyone with a USAB title) 2) Boxing fans (without a title)

Group 1 will carry more weight in their vote of 2 pts. Group 2 will count as 1 vote. There will be a combined ranking, USAB members ranking, and Boxing fan ranking. Initially, we'll start out with the first 50 voters of each group at a total of 100. Then we'll incrementally include more voters to prevent a skewed data.

Initially, those who are interested will need to send us an e-mail at [email protected] with the following information to ensure accurate votes. (Information will not be stored on the internet)

We will reply to your e-mail with a form for you to rank the listed boxers. We will allow a space for boxers to suggest.
