got to take your hat off to stefy hes been about a long time now hes had good career won a few titles been in with a world champ and a big prospect in dean pithie in the early days and that was a very good fight.. theres no shame in walking away after fridays fight because to me that was one off the fights off the year qaulity action and like he says hes had no masjor injuries no cuts and believe it or not in 15 years hes only touched canvas three time twice by pithie and once by khan all by body shots hes never been dropped by a head shot... i use the gym up mexbrough and its a good setup theres some qaulity amatures up there who are going to do well in the amature ranks and theres some good pros in bull stable obviously jamie mac but then theres also undefeated fighter stuart brookes who is now trained by stef undefeated ray doyle undefeated steven hale and undeafted tommy coward so it looking well so far lets just see how develops!!

cheers for the years you have gave us in the competing department and good luck on the training/managing

If steffi has made the decision to retire I think he has retired after an excitin fight with tV and gis own town, he gave everything he had left in that fight, he has built himself a stable and as a coach he and dave are doing a tremendous job with the likes of jamie mac tom coward and a good little am club too, he has a wealth of experience he can pass on to his pro lads so I think his name will be around for many years to come
